Am Sonntag, 7. Juni, sind die Bürgerinnen und Bürger in Deutschland aufgerufen abzustimmen, welche 99 Abgeordneten die Bundesrepublik künftig im EU-Parlament vertreten. Immerhin rund 80 Prozent aller Entscheidungen, die die Belange in den Kommunen betreffen, werden in Brüssel gefällt.

Die Wahlergebnisse aus der Region Hannover sind am Wahlabend unter der Internetadresse http://www.wahl.hannit.de abrufbar.

Medienvertreter sind darüber hinaus für Montag, 8. Juni, 13 Uhr , zur Wahlanalyse ins neue Haus der Region, Raum N002, Hildesheimer Straße 18, 30169 Hannover, eingeladen. Dort nehmen Experten von Stadt Hannover, Region Hannover und Leibniz Universität zu den Ergebnissen Stellung.
