Die Gedenkstätte Ahlem der Region Hannover ist am kommenden Sonntag, 16. August 2009, ab 14 Uhr geöffnet. Um 15 Uhr beginnt eine öffentliche Führung durch die Ausstellungsräume und über das Gelände der ehemaligen Israelitischen Gartenbauschule Ahlem. In Kooperation mit dem "Neuen Land e.V." ist dabei auch das historische Gebäude des einstigen so genannten Mädchenhauses für die Öffentlichkeit zugänglich. Das Ende der Veranstaltung ist für 17 Uhr angesetzt. Die Teilnahme ist kostenlos.
