The RUD Digital World: Digitalisation meets with steel
In the RUD Digital World, the enterprise presents digital solutions for work in the sheet metal machining industry. The BUDDYtron app supports users in their choice and use of lifting points and lifting means. It offers advice and instructions to boost safety when lifting loads and facilitates the quick identification of products by means of NNFC technology.
In the area of product safety and testing, RUD offers the BLUE-ID SYSTEM, which integrates RFID technology and allows easy identification of lifting and lashing means as well as efficient documentation.
For an uncomplicated and individual configuration of lifting means, RUD presents the lifting means configurator.
The load securing app from RUD helps users to secure their loads with easy-to-use recommendations and calculation aids.
“With our successful digitalisation strategy, we are continuously increasing our competitive edge as a technology leader. We are the only company in the industry to offer this range of digital tools, apps, configurators and systems that provide added safety, simplify processes and support customers in their daily business to this extent – in short, we offer real added value,” sums up Jürgen Grubmüller, Head of Marketing at RUD.
ACP-TURNADO: New sizes for heavy load applications
Alongside digital innovations, the focus of the trade fair is also on product developments. The recently expanded ACP-TURNADO family is now also suitable for heavy load applications with sizes up to M100 or 4“. With improved load-bearing capacities and an intelligent rotation mechanism that prevents dangerous transverse loads, the lifting points set new standards in terms of safety and efficiency.
