By introducing this new slogan, which will complement the familiar company logo and typeface, RUTHMANN emphasizes its current and future corporate philosophy and vision.
Heinrich Winkelmann (managing director of RUTHMANN GmbH & Co. KG) says,“This new company slogan underscores the emphasis we put on customer orientation. The slogan “professionals at work” also indicates that - even though RUTHMANN is rich in tradition - our company has evolved into a more international and modern organization. This new slogan reflects the importance of our competent, experienced and fully-devoted employees. Their commitment and desire to work as efficiently as possible have led to the success we enjoy today. Our products are made according to the specific needs of our customers. RUTHMANN products are designed and manufactured in such a way that customers are able to tackle difficult jobs in a professional manner on a daily basis.”
RUTHMANN’s other managing director, Heinz-Jürgen Buss, adds the following: “These high standards are also implemented at our after-sales service locations. Our eight company-owned service centres in Germany and Austria and world-wide RUTHMANN representatives, all work together to provide professional, top-quality service. Competent repair and maintenance of our products, and those of our competitors, assure that machinery is always readilly available and in top-running condition. This is only achievable when you have a team that is highly-qualified and motivated. Our employees work together so well because they share a common goal or common purpose: customer satisfaction”.
Soon after taking over RUTHMANN in 2003, Mr. Winkelmann and Mr. Buss began to modernise the German company. This is still being implemented and has not yet been fully completed. The modernisation process includes improved customer orientation as well as a more streamlined design and construction process. This is not only achieved through new development and manufacturing techniques but also through know-how, expertise and competence in sales and service. High-tech information technology (IT) monitors the above-mentioned processes and measures their degree of success.
After several large-scale projects of the modernisation process were implemented, RUTHMANN decided it was time to make these changes visible as well. RUTHMANN now has a modern enterprise resource planning (ERP) system, 3-D construction software as well as state-of-the-art communication technology for the mobile service technicians that receive job orders and control-system information via Smartphone such as iPhone.
The modernisation plan has also led to improvements in the products themselves. The current development of the RUTHMANN STEIGER® TB 270, an aerial platform with a 27-metre working height mounted onto a 3.5 ton chassis, is a perfect example of what can be accomplished when design, material science and production know-how work in unison on a common project.
