- Route planning tool uses artificial intelligence to holistically optimize load planning with tariff and selection
- First appearance at LogiMAT for Austrian start-up
- Joint stand with Transporeon in hall 4, number 4F67
"Being able to showcase a feature at our first LogiMAT appearance that will make our customers' day-to-day work much easier: The omens could not be better for our premiere at the industry's most renowned trade fair," says Stefan Kremsner, CEO and co-founder of S2data. The Austrian start-up has set itself the goal of making transport planning as efficient as possible by considering all planning-relevant factors in the supply chain.
Automated transport planning
At LogiMAT, the team of mathematicians, logistics experts and software enthusiasts will be presenting its new route planning feature, which takes this motto a step further. With the help of AI, the tool takes into account all information on the load, route, tariff and type of transport in real time. Route planning intelligently selects between Full Truck Load (FTL) and Less Than Truck Load (LTL) transports. "It not only saves costs and resources by finding the most efficient transports, but also reduces the workload for employees, who no longer have to manually compare information and thus have time for higher-value tasks," says Kremsner. The route planning feature has been extensively tested in extensive pilot projects, continuously improved and is now fully integrated into the S2data Platform. With its new feature, S2data is expanding its existing range of functions and improving its innovative holistic transport planning.
Transport optimization - a holistic approach
The software solution enables intelligent 3D load space planning based on load weight, meters and volume and also considers aspects such as stock levels, production capacity and utilization. It generates an optimized transport plan using data from transport management, warehouse management and ERP systems. The S2data Platform can be flexibly adapted to the systems used. "Our platform is adaptive and takes all relevant planning factors into account in much greater detail than conventional transport planning solutions," says Kremsner. As a result, customers can save up to 20 percent on CO2 emissions and 25 percent on their transportation costs. The start-up from Graz is now active in 16 different countries and supports customers from a wide range of industries, from automotive and construction to transport and logistics providers.
At the joint stand with Transporeon at space 4F67 in hall 4, visitors to LogiMAT from March 11 to 13, 2025 will be able to gain their own impression of the potential of the software solution and the performance of the new tool.
