Die Wendeschneidplatten werden dank des CoroCut SL-Systems per Schraubspannung sicher mechanisch geklemmt. Daraus resultiert eine hohe Stabilität, die gesteigerte Schnittgeschwindigkeiten ohne Einbußen bei Toleranzen oder Oberflächengüte ermöglicht. Tatsächlich liegen die Geschwindigkeitsobergrenzen rund vier- bis siebenmal höher als beim Q-Cutter.
Besondere Wirtschaftlichkeit wird durch die zweischneidigen CoroCut-Wendeschneidplatten erzielt, die in Breiten von 2,5 3,0 und 4,0 mm erhältlich sind. Auch individuelle Tailor-Made-Versionen sind auf Anfrage verfügbar.
Bei den Schneidplattengeometrien ist die -TF die erste Wahl. Darüber hinaus stehen, je nach Anwendung, verschiedene weitere Geometrien zur Verfügung. Dank ihres breiten Einsatzspektrums ist die Sorte GC1125 ein echter Allrounder: Das feinkörnige Hartmetall mit dünner PVD-Beschichtung hat sich bei Nutfräsoperationen in verschiedenen Materialien bewährt. Weitere anwendungsspezifische Sorten und Geometrien aus der CoroCut-Familie bieten jedem Kunden die richtige Wendeschneidplatte für seine individuellen Anforderungen.
