Optimale Bearbeitungsergebnisse erfordern in der Regel einen möglichst geringen Werkzeugüberhang. Bei den neuen, integrierten Haltern ist die Gesamtprogrammierlänge deutlich kürzer als bei Werkzeugen mit zylindrischem Schaft. Dadurch ist die Stabilität der integrierten Werkzeuge bei unveränderten Bearbeitungsparametern höher.
Aufgrund ihrer Modularität können die Halter in vielen unterschiedlichen Kombinationen zusammengestellt werden. Dies ermöglicht es, mit einem reduzierten Standardwerkzeugbestand ein für die jeweilige Anwendung und Werkzeugmaschine optimal geeignetes Werkzeug zusammenzustellen. Da jeweils nur eine minimale Anpassung der Werkzeuglänge erforderlich ist, profitieren Anwender außerdem von reduzierten Aufspannzeiten.
