The Turkish market proved to be particularly interesting, as it represents an important hub for companies active in the Middle East. In addition, with many well-trained specialists with SAP experience, it offers enormous opportunities and great potential. With Safa Haktanir, Scheer was able to gain an experienced managing director with a broad network in the SAP environment, who bundles the necessary know-how as well as the right contacts to successfully promote the internationalization of the company and its placement on the Turkish market. Safa Haktanir was very successful for more than 17 years in various roles, among others in the management of SAP SE, and now brings this experience to Scheer.
In the future, Scheer will support numerous customer projects from the newly established branch office in Istanbul. In the first year, the company plans to create a triple-digit number of new jobs in the fields of SAP S/4HANA, SAP Cloud as well as Java and JavaScript development, Open Text, Signavio and Business Process Management. In the next few years, there is the potential to double the number of employees.
The new Scheer Near and Middle East Managing Director, Safa Haktanir, and the CEO of the Scheer Group, Mario Baldi, are already looking forward to the future cooperation. "We will benefit from the mutual exchange of know-how and in-depth knowledge of the different markets. With the new foundation in Istanbul, the Scheer Group once again proves its value proposition to provide the best service to its customers globally as well as regionally. I am pleased about the recognition of the potential in Turkey and I am proud to be part of the Scheer family", says Haktanir enthusiastically. And Baldi adds: "Besides the massive potential to execute projects in Europe and our international customers with the new colleagues in Turkey, we also see a significant new potential to offer our services to new customers in the Middle East. With the new location in Turkey, we are taking a decisive step towards internationalization as well as the targeted growth of the company."
