Through its own Scheer Hub for the key products, Scheer Adriatic will employ experts who will work on projects across Europe, but their workplace will be in Zagreb. The goal is to consolidate experts, educate and certify new ones who will provide timely and quality support to existing and future customers. Considering the more than 25 years of SAP's presence in Croatia, and the fact that Scheer's key partner is SAP, SAP S/4HANA Consulting stands out as the main area of business. Furthermore, they will consult companies in the field of SAP Cloud products such as Ariba, Success Factors, SAP S/4HANA Public Cloud and provide business process management consulting service.
Scheer Adriatic plans to be the leader of the Croatian economy digitalization, helping Croatian unicorns, large enterprises and the public sector become European unicorns through the digitization process. The strong impact that the Group has on the Croatian market is confirmed by the first user experience in the consumer goods industry, which is currently in the implementation phase of SAP S/4HANA and SAP EWM.
Currently, Scheer Adriatic employs 25 professionals, and the goal is to hire 100 new ones by the end of 2022. The branch is led by Sanja Meleš, an experienced expert with a wide network in the SAP environment, who combines the necessary knowledge and has brought the right contacts with whom the internationalization of the company and its positioning in the Croatian market has been successfully launched. With three decades of experience in the ICT industry, Meleš has held various positions in IT business development, customer management and consulting. As a key customer manager at SAP, she covered the market of large companies in Croatia and, at the same time, was responsible for sales activities in revenue generation, positioning SAP solutions and increasing the company's market share. Early in her professional development, she spent several years in Toronto, Canada, working as an IT trainer. She completed two studies with a Master of Science from the Faculty of Civil Engineering, University of Zagreb and a Master of Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology (RiT), USA.
The importance of cooperation and the arrival of Scheer in Croatia was commented by Sanja Meleš, Director of Scheer Adriatic, and Mario Baldi, Director of Scheer GmbH: "Scheer's business in Croatia is not limited to the local market. We will expand across borders into Southeast Europe and it is potential to our development in Western and Central Europe. We will exchange knowledge and mutually agree where Scheer group will be able to provide the best service to its customers at the global and regional level. I am happy that Croatian potential has been recognized and proud to be part of the Scheer family," Sanja Meleš said. Mario Baldi added: "We see significant potential for our services in the Southeast European region. With a new location in Croatia, we are taking a decisive step to the internationalization and targeted growth of the company as we continue to look for future markets in Southeast Europe."
