Whether it is a family home, apartment building, newbuild or modernisation - Schüco LivIng has a wide variety of possible uses. In addition to windows, window doors and balcony doors, tilt/slide doors, side entrance doors and entrance doors can also be created. All types of windows - including arched-head windows - can be constructed with this system and combined with design features and sash bars.
Energy efficiency and security
Schüco LivIng has a basic depth of 82 mm. The 7-chamber construction can be supplied with two or three drainage levels depending on the client's requirements. This means that even passive houses can be constructed without resource-intensive additional measures - triple glazing and functional glazing up to a thickness of 52 mm can easily be accommodated. Schüco LivIng also offers tailored fittings options for security technology: windows and doors can be constructed to meet resistance classes up to RC 2 as required.
Comfort and design
Together with its development partner Semperit, Schüco has created a gasket for this new PVC-U system which provides highly effective sealing - even in the often problematic corner areas of building components. For the residents of the building, this means a greater feeling of well-being and long-term protection from draughts, moisture and noise. Furthermore, there is also an unlimited choice of colours. The exclusive Schüco AutomotiveFinish surface finish technology endows Schüco LivIng windows and doors with brilliant metallic designs, which are otherwise only to be found in the automotive industry. The Schüco range of foils with a selection of over 160 single colours and woodgrain finishes as well as aluminium cover caps (availability expected from the end of the third quarter of 2016), which cover all RAL and anodised colour shades, offer a variety of options to suit every taste. In keeping with the trend for different shades of grey in façade design, Schüco LivIng is also available in grey PVC-U. This ensures an harmonious appearance, particularly when the window is open.
