Januar 2023 wurde der Korruptionswahrnehmungsindex 2022 (Corruption Perceptions Index, kurz: CPI) von Transparency International, der weltweit führenden zivilgesellschaftlichen Organisation im Kampf gegen Korruption, veröffentlicht. Der CPI betrachtet 180 Staaten und bewertet deren nach dem von Experten und Geschäftsleuten eingeschätzten Grad der Korruption im öffentlichen Sektor (sprich Politik und Verwaltung).
