Kvaser CAN-FD-Karte M.2 PCIe 4xCAN mit vier CAN-FD-Kanälen hat nur eine Bauhöhe von 2mm bei Boardabmessungen von 22 x 80mm; die CAN-Transceiver sind ausgelagert, wodurch die Signalqualität optimiert wird, weil diese näher an den CAN-Netzwerken selbst platziert werden können. Mit einer Zeitstempelauflösung von nur 1 μs und einer maximalen Nachrichtenrate von 20000 msg/s pro Kanal sowie Silent-Mode, Error-Frame-Erkennung und -Generierung eignet sich diese CAN-Karte sehr gut für embedded Systeme.
