Die Top-Level-Domain .cm ist nicht so sehr als Laenderdomain von Kamerun interessant, sondern weil Millionen sich beim Eingeben in den Browser vertippen und statt .com nur .cm eingeben. Viiele Fachleute erwarten daher einen Ansturm auf die cm-domain.

Die Landrush-Phase der cm-domains startet am 15. Juli 2009 und endet am 31. Juli 2009. Fuer die Landrush-Phase der cm-domains gibt es keine bestimmte Voraussetzungen. Die Registrierungsgebuehren betragen 299 EURO fuer 2 Jahre.

Die Vor-Registrierung fuer die Landrush-Period der cm-domains ist bei ICANN Registrar Secura (www.domainregistry.de/...) kostenfrei.

Alle cm- Domains, die mehrfach vorbestellt wurden,sollen automatisch unter den Bewerbern versteigert werden. Die Veroeffentlichung der entsprechenden cm-Domains wird kurz nach dem Ende der Landrush-Phase stattfinden.
