In der von ICANN veröffentlichten Liste von rund 1900 Bewerbungen findet man auch die ltd-Domains."Ltd" ist bekanntlich das englische Gegenstück zur "GmbH" in deutschsprachigen Ländern. Die Gmbh-Domains sind übrigens auch unter den vorgeschlagenen Domains (http://www.domainregistry.de/...). Aus Brasilien liegt übrigens eine Bewerbung für eine ltda-Domain vor (http://www.domainregistry.de/...).
Hans-Peter Oswald von domainregistry.de erklärt dazu: "Afilias und die myLTD GmbH aus Deutschland haben neben fünf weiteren Interessenten die Bewerbungsgebühr für die Ltd-Domain entrichtet und eine formgerechte Bewerbung abgegeben.
