When the doors open for LogiMAT 2025, Sentry Protection Products will be ready to show visitors the latest in impact resistant and collision warning products. In addition to introducing a new system that expands the possibilities for column protection (Column Sentry® FIT System), Sentry will focus on its rack protection (Rack Sentry® and Rack Sentry® CONTOUR) products and its collision warning systems including Collision Sentry® Corner Pro and Collision Sentry® Multi-Zone. New and improved solutions to customer challenges are part of Sentry’s commitment to its customers.
“We are always looking at ways to move forward in providing our customers with new and more advanced ways to protect their facilities, equipment and people,” added Ryan. “The industry is constantly evolving, and we need to keep pace with developing products that meet our customer’s changing needs.”
Sentry products are safety products and are built like safety products should be built. The materials in manufacturing, the manufacturing process, and the rigorous testing are all aimed at ensuring a quality, efficient, and reliable product. Safety is something you can’t cut corners on.
“We’ve always said, if people use our products, it’s because they want to send their employees home at the end of the day as healthy as they were when they started the day,” said James Ryan, president of Sentry. “It’s like an insurance policy. You try to spend a fixed amount of money upfront to prevent an unknown at the other end. You may never have that collapse or collision, but if you do, the cost could be devastating. And when it comes to human safety, there’s just no measurement of what you do when you hurt someone.”
Summing up the journey so far, Ryan says, “Our aim is not to be a ‘do everything for everyone’ business; we try to find products that make sense in the facility; that are simple to understand and to install. The jolt you get when suddenly you turn around and you’ve sold almost a million-of-something is very satisfying. It’s fantastic just knowing that a hunch turned into a prototype and then suddenly, the marketplace says ‘yeah, this is something of value to us.”
“If we were able to help somebody or prevent something that really could have changed people’s lives, that’s also very, very satisfying.”
