Jens Michael Wegmann wird neuer CEO der Division Industry Solutions

Mit Wirkung vom 1. Oktober 2008 wird Jens Michael Wegmann (42) die Leitung der Division Industry Solutions im Siemens-Sektor Industry übernehmen. Er folgt als CEO auf Jørgen-Ole Haslestad, der Siemens im September auf eigenen Wunsch verlassen wird. Wegmann begann seine Karriere bei Siemens 1989 als Entwicklungsingenieur in der Robotik. Nach verschiedenen Stationen in Automation, Anlagenbau und Service für die Chemie-, Papier- und Stahlbranche übernahm er im Jahr 2000 die Leitung des Geschäftsgebiets Metals, Mining & Paper Technologies im damaligen Bereich Industrial Solutions and Services. Seit 2002 leitete er die Einheit Security Solutions bei Siemens Building Technologies. Wegmann schloss den Studiengang Elektrotechnik an der Universität Braunschweig als Diplomingenieur ab.
