MKV GmbH Kunststoffgranulate has provided SKZ with a pre-Christmas surprise: the company has donated three tons of plastic granulate for SKZ training courses in the field of injection molding process technology. Matthias Ruff, Head of Sales Education & Research at SKZ, reports: "First of all, we would like to thank MKV Kunststoffgranulate for the pre-Christmas surprise. With the donated pellets, which are recyclates, we can show our training participants how this sustainable material is processed in injection molding and which parameters need to be taken into account. A real added value". The materials used are Ziathene (PP) and Zialan RS (ABS).
Recycled materials are quality products
Kai Zies, Managing Director of MKV Kunststoffgranulate, adds: "MKV has been a member of the SKZ for many years and is very pleased that its own materials are now being used for the training and further education of specialists in the field of plastics. In addition to the course content, this gives the participants the opportunity to see for themselves that recyclates can be a quality product".
SKZ offers various course formats
The SKZ offers its injection molding courses in Würzburg as well as in Peine and Horb am Neckar. Online formats such as LIVE online training and WBTs are also offered. In-house training courses are also held regularly at customer sites and are very popular.The European Green Deal, with the goal of a completely CO2-neutral EU by 2050, also influences the research areas of the EZD in Selb. Currently, EZD scientists are intensively researching bio-based, sustainable and non-toxic formulations and coatings.
