Dieses Seminar soll ein grundsätzliches Verständnis des Verarbeitungsverhaltens des thermoplastischen Kunststoffs PVC, insbesondere beim Schweißen, vermitteln. Dabei werden Schwerpunkte auf die Materialeigenschaften, die Besonderheiten beim Schweißen von Profilen im Fensterbau und den Einfluss verschiedener Rahmenbedingungen auf die Schweißnahtqualität gelegt. Durch ein besseres Verständnis des Verfahrens und der Maschinentechnik können Fertigungsabläufe optimiert, die Qualität verbessert und Schadensfälle vermieden werden.
