SMART Technologies ID GmbH, Hersteller von NFC-/RFID Schreib-/Lese Systeme , stellt zwei neue RFID-Compact Module auf Basis von LEGIC und NXP Leserchips vor

Um modernen Anforderungen gerecht zu werden wurden kleine kompakte Module für LEGIC und Mifare Desfire Anwendungen mit integrierter USB Schnittstelle entwickelt.

Das RFID LEGIC Modul und das RFID Mifare Modul sind PIN kompatibel, d.h. die Module sind eins zu eins austauschbar was der Integration von RFID einen erheblichen Vorteil an Flexibilität bietet.

Bei der Entwicklung wurde besonders auf kompakte Abmessungen ( 31x26x4 mm ) und technischer Flexibilität (3,3 V DC bis 5,0V DC) bei den Einsatzmöglichkeiten geachtet.

Für kundenspezifische Anpassungen stehen dem Benutzer 4 digitale I/O Ports zur Verfügung. Die einfache Kommandostruktur ermöglicht es das Modul ohne großen Aufwand in verschiedenste Applikationen einzubinden.

Der Datentransfer erfolgt standardmäßig über USB oder eine serielle TTL Schnittstelle. Des Weiteren kann das RFID Modul über USB HID-Mode, Magstripe, Clock/Data, Wiegand, USB Virtueller Comport oder Real RS232 eingebunden werden.

Die Einsatzgebiete dieser Module sind zum Beispiel: PoS Geräte, Betriebsdatenerfassungs-Terminals,

Zeiterfassungs-Terminals, Kiosksysteme, Automaten, Hand- und Tischlesegeräte etc.
