A prime attraction will be the opportunity to meet and question a real life, official Head Geek!
SolarWinds' Head Geek Lawrence Garvin (yes, that's his official title), who is also a nine time Microsoft MVP, will be available at booth no. E50. Experts from SolarWinds' product engineering team will be demonstrating the company's solutions.
"At SolarWinds we place a strong emphasis on identifying the real-world needs of networking professionals, as part of our product development process," said Chris LaPoint, VP Product Management at SolarWinds. "So events like CiscoLive! 2014 represent excellent opportunities to identify the evolving needs faced by engineers every day. Their input contributes significantly to the success of solutions such as NetFlow Traffic Analyzer, Network Performance Monitor and Network Configuration Manager."
As a member of the Cisco® Technology Developer programme, SolarWinds works with Cisco® to deliver enterprise-class IT management solutions that improve the performance of corporate networks. SolarWinds' products empower IT administrators to manage their Cisco® equipment, leveraging many industry-accepted Cisco® technologies including NetFlow.
· SolarWinds NetFlow Traffic Analyzer (NTA) provides real-time network utilization and bandwidth monitoring, enabling IT pros to keep a close watch on network traffic data. The latest version of NTA 4.0 has the ability to process 50,000 flows or more per second (400 per cent faster flow processing speed than before), and up-to-the-minute reporting.
· SolarWinds Network Performance Monitor (NPM) provides powerful and easy-to-use fault and availability management for networks of all sizes. It detects, diagnoses and resolves network issues; tracks response time, availability and uptime of routers, switches and other SNMP-enabled devices; and shows performance statistics in real time with out-of-the-box reports. NPM provides at-a-glance insights into the health of network hardware by monitoring, alerting and reporting on the state of the key devices sensors, including temperature, fan speed and power supply.
· SolarWinds Network Configuration Manager (NCM) automates network configuration and change management, enabling bulk change deployment to thousands of devices, performing scheduled network configuration backups, and protecting against unauthorised and erroneous network changes. NCM also includes an integrated database of end-of-sale and end-of-life dates for Cisco® and Juniper switches and routers.
