Join Solectrix at embedded world 2024 in hall 4A, booth 152 for an exclusive presentation of the latest embedded system products, showcasing a wide range of cutting-edge technology for the automotive, medical, industrial, and imaging sectors. A live demonstration will enable visitors to experience the company’s digital imaging expertise first hand.
The show will see the debut of sinaSCOPE Mobile, the latest product variant of the digital 3D microscopy platform from Solectrix. Based on an Acer Aspire 3D 15 SpatialLabs™ Edition laptop and its 4K UHD display supporting glasses-free 3D, sinaSCOPE Mobile takes the system concept to a portable level, offering a lighter and more compact alternative to the stationary sinaSCOPE Professional line with its separate 15.6″ 3D monitor. The system allows for improved workplace ergonomics as the head remains freely movable. Fatigue-free working over a longer period of time is possible, preventing a lack of concentration.
With various configurations, sinaSCOPE offers custom-tailored solutions for every user’s needs:
- A complete sinaSCOPE system consists of a microscope equipped with two digital 4K cameras, a 3D display, an image processing unit and a PC. Available in both Professional and Mobile
- With a sinaSCOPE digital upgrade kit, users of an optical, eyepiece-based stereo microscope can expand it to a digital microscope. Other than the microscope used, this solution is identical with the complete system. Available in both Professional and Mobile
- Additionally, sinaSCOPE OEM is an integration kit for original system development. It includes the required software, the sinaSCOPE 4K miniature camera heads, a proFRAME grabber, and a 15.6″ autostereoscopic display.
SXVPU (Smart eXtensible Vision Processing Unit) is the new intelligent solution for embedded vision applications in industrial vehicle technology.
The robust image processing platform (housing with IP65 protection) efficiently handles high-resolution video streams (H.264/265) up to 4K in real-time, overcoming challenges such as object recognition and integration of machine learning.
With its specialized hardware architecture and support for multiple cameras and sensors, SXVPU is designed to directly use precise image data from the sensor and efficiently process it through either AI or conventional algorithms before compressing and transmitting the data over Ethernet to other system components. The system’s low latency makes it ideals for the safety-critical applications.
The result is a perfect solution for viewing and vision applications in mobile automation.
New SXIVE Calibration SDK for Effortless Image Sensor Calibration
Solectrix will be showcasing the SXIVE Calibration SDK, a new expansion of its highly acclaimed SXIVE Rapid Imaging Prototyping System. This powerful software-based solution empowers customers to calibrate their image-based systems effortlessly, while also ensuring seamless compatibility with a large number of image sensors.
Key features of the SXIVE Calibration SDK:
- Image correction: The SDK enables correction of the incoming image regarding color, lense distortion and lense shading to produce a flawless picture.
- Automated operation: The SDK streamlines the calibration process, making it intuitive and accessible to users of all levels of expertise. Calibration becomes a one-click operation.
- Compatibility with sensors: Combined with the SXIVE SoftISP’s exceptional flexibility, the SDK ensures compatibility with a vast array of image sensors.
- C++ library integration: For an individual approach, a C++ library for program-controlled calibration is available.
- Compatibility with other ISPs: Can also be used with other existing ISPs without the SXIVE SoftISP.
Also featured at the Solectrix booth will be product news from the popular proFRAME line, including new camera adapters for GVIF3 and CSI-2, the SX Mobile Device Kit for easy development of mobile devices for the medical field, and system-on-module boards from the company’s SXoM series of products.
Solectrix can be found at embedded world 2024 from April 9 to 11 in hall 4A, booth 152.
