Speech Design, the european provider of messaging and mobility solutions for companies and network operators, is now a member of Forum Nokia PRO, a program that provides advanced technical, business development and marketing support to selected mobile software companies. Speech Design intends to further expand the reach of its market-leading enterprise Fixed-Mobile-Convergence (FMC) solution, Teleserver Mobile Pro, by targeting Eseries devices from Nokia.
Forum Nokia PRO provides specialized support for advanced developer companies creating the next generation of software based on the Series 40, S60 and Series 80 platforms from Nokia. A select number of companies worldwide who demonstrate industry leadership are chosen as Forum Nokia PRO members.
Nokia Eseries becomes an office extension
Teleserver Mobile Pro transforms Nokia Eseries mobiles into extensions of the corporate telephone system (PBX), giving mobile users access to many convenient office functions: “call forward”, “consultation hold”, “multiparty conference”, etc. All office calls can be placed and received either on Nokia Eseries handset or on the desktop phone, as desired. Switching phones in mid-conversation is also supported.
One number, one voice mail
Mobile employees are reachable under the same business number (the wireline office number) wherever they happen to be. Teleserver Mobile Pro routes outgoing mobile calls through the office PBX, presenting the user´s office number (rather than the mobile number) to the called party.
Teleserver Mobile Pro supports many of the existing corporate and mobile voice mail systems and consolidates all voice messages into a single mailbox. Users can even receive e-mail copies of voice messages for filing, distribution or easy listening on any PC.
