NOVA R680E – Industrial PC for Machine Control

The NOVA R680E is the system for applications in the industrial sector. Thanks to its numerous connections, including two PCIe slots, a wide variety of applications in the machine learning or big data sector can be implemented.

Intel® Core™ i5-12500T and passive cooling 

The NOVA R680E industrial PC is equipped with an Intel® Core™ i5-12500T CPU with a performance of up to 6x 4.4 GHz. Combined with up to 64 GB DDR5 RAM and an NVMe SSD of up to 2 TB, the system can be used in a wide variety of industrial applications - from machine learning to controlling production lines. The passively cooled housing also ensures that the NOVA feels right at home in dusty production halls. 

Wide range power input 8 - 48V and anti-vibration design 

In addition to a temperature range of -10°C to +50°C, the system also has a wide range power input of 8V to 48V. In addition, the NOVA is shock-tested according to IEC 60068-2 and has an anti-vibration design, meaning it can withstand applications that are sometimes a little unsettled. 

10x USB, 4x LAN, 4x COM: NOVA connection miracle 

In order to be prepared for a wide range of applications, there are various interfaces on the robust metal housing of the NOVA R680E. In addition to 4 video outputs (2x HDMI 2.0 and 2x DisplayPort 1.4a), these include a total of four 2.5Gbps Ethernet ports. There are also 10 USB 3.2 ports on the front and back panel to connect the mini PC to external peripherals. Thanks to the four COM interfaces, the NOVA is ideally suited for industrial use. 

The highlight among the available interfaces are the two PCIe slots, which make it possible - depending on the application - to install various cards that use a PCIe bus. In addition to various graphics cards (Nvidia® RTX A2000, 2000 or 4000), these also include special LAN cards. 

Optional WiFi, 4G and operating system  

As usual with our spo-comm PCs, the NOVA R680E can also be equipped with WiFi, a 4G module or an operating system. Ubuntu, Windows 11 Pro and Windows 10 IoT are available. 

The NOVA R680E is ideal for all types of industrial applications, from control to big data and machine learning. Thanks to its numerous interfaces, including two PCIe slots, an additional graphics card or LAN card can also be connected.
