„The trend towards mini PCs continues unabated”, says Michael Sporrer, CEO spo-comm. “But what we also have noticed is a trend that users increasingly want to use mini PCs as servers. Reason enough for us to develop the spo-book MOVE QM77 that meets the customers’ requirements especially in networking areas. Thanks to the UMTS and LTE interfaces the new model is also suitable for mobile deployment.”
Further advantages of the passively cooled system: It can be used in an enlarged temperature range in between -40°C and +70°C and be installed in vehicles. Thanks to the two drive bays and the several interfaces, its usage as noiseless and powerful server is easily applicable. Customers have the choice between 4 x Gigabit LAN and optional W-LAN as well as up to 2 x UMTS/LTE. In regards to the operating system, there should also be something for everybody as Windows 7 and 8, Windows 7 Embedded, Windows Server 2008 and Linux are available.
