Storage Appliances von Zealbox jetzt auch als Hybrid-Variante DataCore-zertifiziert.

Nach erfolgreicher Zertifizierung der separaten iSCSI- und Fibre Channel-Modelle ist jetzt auch die Hybrid-Variante der Software-defined Zealbox Storage-Systeme erfolgreich für DataCore mit SANsymphony-V 10 zertifiziert.

Die ZSA10-FC/iSCSI ist mit 16 Gbit/s Fibre Channel- und 10 Gbit/s Ethernet-Anschlüssen in einem Gerät erhältlich. Die Storage Appliances basieren auf Supermicro Technologie mit aktuellem X10 Board und 12 Gbit/s SAS Backplane. Es können bis zu 72 interne Festplatten/SSDs angeschlossen werden. Die Kapazität ist durch zusätzliche JBODs auch nachträglich erweiterbar.

Die neuen Appliances können als vorkonfigurierte Storage-Server einfach in ein bestehendes SAN eingebunden werden. Damit sind alle Features der SANsymphony-V 10 Software sofort verfügbar. Die Zealbox Storage Appliances können als Einzelsystem oder als High Availability-Grid eingesetzt werden.

Als Einzelsystem eingesetzt stellen die Zealbox ZSA10 viele Funktionen bereit:
  • Disk Pooling mit automatischem Storage Tiering
  • Performancesteigerung mit SSDs und Flash-Speicher (adaptives Caching)
  • Deduplication / Compression
  • Veeam Integration / Backup Portal
  • OpenStack Cinder Integration
  • Erweitertes Monitoring
  • Random Write Accelerator
