Bei der heutigen Kick-Off Veranstaltung auf dem Recyclinghof Liebigstraße der Stadtreinigung Hamburg wurde das neue Sammelstellenlogo für die Rücknahme von Batterien und Elektrogeräten vorgestellt. 

Florian Pronold, Parlamentarischer Staatssekretär im Bundesumweltministerium, hob – mit Blick auf das ab 2019 geltende Sammelziel von 65% für Elektro-Altgeräte – die Notwendigkeit gut sichtbarer und verständlicher Verbraucherinformationen hervor. Hintergrundinformationen und Stellungnahmen der Initiatoren (stiftung elektro-altgeräte register und Stiftung GRS Batterien) und Stakeholder entnehmen Sie bitte der gemeinsamen Pressemitteilung. Die stiftung elektro-altgeräte register (stiftung ear) ist die „Gemeinsame Stelle der Hersteller“ im Sinne des ElektroG. Vom Umweltbundesamt mit der Wahrnehmung hoheitlicher Aufgaben betraut, registriert die stiftung ear die Hersteller von Elektro- und Elektronikgeräten und koordiniert die Bereitstellung von Behältnissen für Übergabestellen und die Abholung der Altgeräte bei den öffentlich-rechtlichen Entsorgungsträgern in der gesamten Bundesrepublik Deutschland.

Die stiftung elektro-altgeräte register hat gemeinsam mit der Stiftung GRS Batterien das G2 Projekt initiiert, im Rahmen dessen das Sammelstellenlogo entwickelt wurde.
