Es richtet sich an Unternehmen aller Größen sowie an Netzbetreiber und ISPs, die ihren Geschäftskunden diesen Service als Hosting-Lösung zur Verfügung stellen, wenn diese die Installation und Administration nicht selbst übernehmen möchten.
Dank der einzigartigen Zero Footprint Architektur erübrigt sich die Einrichtung eines teuren Virtual Private Network (VPN) hinter der Firewall oder eines Client auf dem Handy. Die Middleware setzt auf der bestehende Infrastruktur und erprobten Sicherheitsstandards auf und erfordert keine Änderungen an Schnittstellen zu Dritt-Systemen. Das Firmennetzwerk bleibt abgeschirmt und ist dennoch mobil erreichbar. Das SyncML Gateway wurde von der Fachzeitschrift TeleTalk mit dem 'Best of CeBIT Award 2006' unter anderem für Produktinnovation und Marktpotential ausgezeichnet.
