Der neue miniaturisierte ICP®-Beschleunigungssensor Modell 352A74 von PCB Piezotronics, Inc. ist ein Leichtgewicht mit hoher Auflösung. Der Sensor hat einen Messbereich von ±50 g, der Schockschutz reicht bis 5.000 g. Bei einer Empfindlichkeit von 100 mV/g hat der Sensor eine Auflösung von 0,0002 g. Das Sensorelement im Shear-Design und die Elektronik sind in einem hermetisch dichten Gehäuse aus Titan untergebracht, die Montage erfolgt durch kleben. Das integrierte Kabel ist 3 Meter lang, dabei sind die ersten 30 cm ein besonders leichtes und flexibles 2-adriges und verdrilltes Kabel.

Wegen der hohen Empfindlichkeit und dem geringen Gewicht von nur 1,2 Gramm eignet sich dieser Sensor hervorragend für die Vibrationsprüfung von elektronischen Bauteilen, Leiterplatten und anderen kleinen und leichten Strukturen.
