Talesun Solar, a leading international manufacturer of high quality solar modules and cells, has completed the construction of a 293 kWp turnkey photovoltaic installation in southeastern Anatolia through its Turkish joint venture Talesun Anadolu Solar Enerji. In the future the Sehr-i Nuh hotel, which belongs to the Acar Group, will profit from self-generated electricity.
The 293 kWp project was undertaken entirely by Talesun Anadolu Solar Enerji, from the project planning, through the construction, to the connection to the Turkish grid. Talesun Solar Germany acted as the prime contractor. Generating approximately 1,719 kWh per square meter, the installation in the southeastern Anatolian town of Sirnak benefits from excellent irradiation values: The five-star hotel Sehr-i Nuh is situated close to where the borders of Turkey, Syria, and Iraq converge. The relatively sparse cloud cover and an average of 284 days of sunshine each year make the region particularly well suited to the production of photovoltaic energy.

Polycrystalline Modules with High Durability/ Power Rating
For the construction of the installation in Sirnak Talesun used 1,172 of its TP 660P polycrystalline 250 watt modules. The panels are recognized for their particularly high durability/power rating and their quality, for which they have received TÜV certification in Germany. The modules are mounted on a system provided by the German company Schletter, while the inverters are from ABB in Switzerland. The ground-mounted installation is connected to the grounds of the Sehr-i Nuh and serves the energy consumption requirements of the fivestar hotel.
