The new SpinFire version 11.10.0 of Actify's 3D CAD viewer is now available. SpinFire 11.10.0 includes the following enhanced analysis capabilities with the latest release: Part comparison, wall thickness analysis, draft angle analysis, curvature analysis, rotation transformation and much more. A number of additional features for visualizing and analyzing CAD data are available in the new SpinFire version, such as average wall thickness specification, animated user views, dynamic section dimensions and improved boundary clipping. Furthermore, SpinFire allows export and conversion of native 3D CAD files to GL Transmission Format (glTF) format. The viewer supports the CAD formats Catia V5/V6, NX, Inventor, Pro/Engineer & Creo, Rhino, JT, SolidWorks, Solid Edge, Step, Iges, STL, 3D PDF and others, as well as the new importer format 3D Manufacturing Format (.3MF versions 1, 2 and 3).

In the past, CAD Viewers were licensed either to a single computer workstation or to a group of users, and were provided only to engineering staff. Sales or marketing team members, for example, did not have direct access, but turned to the appropriate engineering department when CAD data or files were needed for customers or product information. Actify's SpinFire Enterprise solution unlocks this limitation with enterprise licensing, allowing access to CAD data for any employee, on any device within an organization that can be defined by company, division or location, all the way up to the entire enterprise. With unlimited access to SpinFire, sales teams can mark up and present designs during a customer visit.
