One focus of the German Pavilion was „Security for Mobility“. The presentation by Ammar Alkassar (CEO Sirrix and member of the board at TeleTrusT) and Axel Stett (COO certgate) in the main program of the conference met the interest of a large American audience. At the traditional Round Table this time on „Information Leakage Prevention“ the American experts Keith Brintzenhofe (Microsoft), John Carione (Adobe) and Roger Heule (RSA) as well as the Germans Hannes Just (AUCONET), Bruno Quint (CORISECIO) and Simon Ford (NCP) presented their concepts.
At the German Evening Reception in the German Consulate General in San Francisco more than 80 experts from Germany, Europe and the USA as well as representatives from user areas and administration met for networking. TeleTrusT invited to this event in front of the coulisse of the San Francisco Bay together with the Deputy Consul General Eberhard Brockmann and Dr. Markus Dürig, Head of the IT-Security Division at the Federal Ministry of Interior.
The exhibitors of the German Pavilion were thoroughly pleased with this year’s participation in the exhibition. „Our products received a broad interest on the US American market and we have been able to make good contacts“, says Dr. Georg Hess, Managing Director of art of defence. The Managing Director of AUCONET, Frank Winter, is also satisfied: “We are thrilled about the enormously positive feedback we received here, especially in connection with the opening of our American representation.“
For the RSA Conference 2010 project leader Professor Reimer already received 14 registrations. “When the registrations continue like this, we will need more space in 2010!”, Helmut Reimer rejoices. “Although the German Pavilion has already been the biggest exhibitor at this year’s RSA.”
