Laureate of the TeleTrusT Innovation Award 2008 is the IT-Security solution „Secuvoice“, a development of Secusmart (Düsseldorf) in cooperation with the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI), Giesecke & Devrient and T-Systems. Further awards went to „Company on Net“ by CONNET from Ljubljana and „LBS Automation“ by CORISECIO from Darmstadt. The Innovation Awards have been awarded during the ISSE-Conference in Madrid.
Secuvoice encodes the communication and authenticates the participants. Thus the solution makes mobile telephoning tap-proof and fraud resistant. „With Secuvoice security functions are directly integrated into the mobile phone“, Dr. Günther Welsch, managing director of TeleTrusT, explains. „Therewith Secusmart and T Systems have developed a solution that is suitable for daily use and its necessity and advantage is obvious to everybody.” This was one of the reasons the jury selected Secuvoice out of the abundance of applications for the Innovation Award 2008.

The second award went to CONNET from Ljubljana (Slovenia) who developed the trustworthy digital business certificate „Company On Net“. The certificate verifies the identity of companies and organizations in the internet and anchors it on a new secure domain. The site verified by Company On Net includes secure official data about the company and optional financial or credit information. Thus the certificate helps the companies in getting more competitive, visible and trustworthy and by doing so it makes the internet more business friendly.
The third award went to the IT-Security expert from Darmstadt CORISECIO for the solution „Location Based Service (LBS) Automation“ which has been jointly developed with T-Systems. This product extends the security solution „Mobile Suite“ by location independent functions automatically starting actions on the device or changing settings. Thereby the secure operation of Smartphones within the entire organization becomes more efficient. The award-winning product LBS Automation will be shown at the Systems in Munich (Hall B3 Stand 120).
