VoIP Provider auf dem TerraSip Mitgliedskonto weiter zu benutzen.
Weiterleitung einer geographischen Festnetznummer auf das SIP-Konto:
Noch bevor TerraSip geografische Rufnummern, sogenannte DIDs (Direct Inward Dialling) in allen Ländern anbietet, hat das Entwickler Team ein sehr kundenfreundliches neues Feature in die Konto-Software eingebaut. Hat ein Nutzer bereits eine Festnetz-Rufnummer irgendwo weltweit von einem anderen VoIP Provider erhalten und möchte diese Nummer nun in Verbindung mit seinem TerraSip Konto verwenden, so kann er dies sehr einfach tun.
Er gibt in seinem persönlichen geschützten Bereich „MyTerraSip“ die Kontodaten seines bisherigen Providers ein und speichert diese Daten. Im selben Augenblick funktioniert dann auch die Weiterleitung seiner erhaltenen Rufnummer auf sein TerraSip Konto, d.h. das mit einem TerraSip Account konfigurierte Telefon klingelt dann, wenn diese erhaltene Festnetznummer eines X-beliebigen anderen Providers angerufen wird.
Erreichbarkeit bei maximaler Flexibilität:
Viele Voice over IP Nutzer haben Konten bei verschiedenen Providern. Eine einmal erhaltene DID verliert also nicht ihren Wert, wenn man sich für die Nutzung eines anderen Dienstes entscheidet. Der entscheidende Vorteil ist, dass der User für seine Freunde, Familie und Geschäftspartner weiterhin unter der gleichen Nummer erreichbar bleibt. Verwalten und kommunizieren verschiedener Nummern, womöglich auf verschiedenen Endgeräten, entfällt mit dieser Lösung.
„Es ist ein kleines aber sehr feines Tool, was der knappen Ressource virtuelle Festnetznummern einen größeren Spielraum verleiht. Da ein Kunde diese Funktion völlig eigenständig zufügen und auch wieder zurücksetzen kann, sind wir in der Lage diese Funktion auch absolut kostenlos zur Verfügung stellen.
