Jena, April 2019:  Schnell, einfach und ohne Registrierung – diese Vorteile des „Carrier Billings“ gegenüber anderen Zahlungsmethoden nennen über drei Viertel der Entscheider, deren Verkehrsunternehmen oder Verkehrsverbund “Carrier Billing“ anbietet. Als weitere Vorteile wurden von den Befragten die hohe Reichweite (62%) und die Sicherheit (38%) benannt. Die Akzeptanz der Zahlungsmethode „Carrier Billing“ durch große Online Stores für digitale Angebote führt ein Fünftel der Befragten als weiteren Vorteil auf. Jeder achte Befragte sieht das „Carrier Billing“ sogar als Katalysator für mehr umweltschonende Mobilität und saubere Luft in den Städten.

Diese und weitere Ergebnisse zeigt eine aktuelle ÖPNV- Marktstudie der TAF mobile GmbH. Das Marktforschungsinstitut Statista hatte im Auftrag des Softwareexperten, der TAF mobile GmbH, eine ÖPNV-Marktforschungsstudie unter Fahrgästen und Verkehrsunternehmen im November 2018 online durchgeführt. In Zusammenarbeit wurden zwei Fragebögen entwickelt und an über 1.000 Fahrgäste und 450 Entscheider aus deutschen Verkehrsunternehmen versandt.
