The Imaging Source, internationaler Hersteller von Kameras und Software für die industrielle Bildverarbeitung, gibt die Herausgabe ihrer neuen Software IC Barcode zur 1D und 2D Barcodeerkennung bekannt.

IC Barcode ist eine umfangreiche Entwicklungs-Bibliothek die 1D- und 2D-Barcodes zuverlässig in Einzel- und Livebildern erkennt. Mit nur wenigen Codezeilen lässt sich die Software in bestehende oder neue Applikationen integrieren.

Die Software liest mehrere Barcodes mit beliebiger Ausrichtung und findet und analysiert sämtliche Codes in einem Bild im Bruchteil einer Sekunde. Umfassende Informationen aller Barcodes (wie z.B. Barcode-Typ, Data String, Prüfsumme, usw.) werden mit nahezu 100%iger Zuverlässigkeit analysiert. IC Barcode funktioniert mit allen von The Imaging Source hergestellten Kameras.

Folgende Formate können mit IC Barcode verwendet werden:

1D: EAN8, EAN13, CODE39, CODE93, CODE128, UPC_A, APC_E, INTERLEAVED_2_OF_5
2D: AZTEC, DATA_MATRIX, QR CODE, MAXICODE, PDF417
