In addition to the strong CPU processing performance, the module also impresses with its powerful graphics: three graphics outputs can be simultaneously controlled. Resolutions of up to 4K (3840x2160) are supported with 60 Hz - even with different image content. The interfaces are designed as 2x DP++ (DisplayPort 1.2 / HDMI 1.4) and LVDS. Optionally an embedded DisplayPort (eDP 1.3) is also available. Due to the support of Multi Stream Transport (MST), several external displays can also be connected to a graphics output.
Security features such as TPM 1.2 and 2.0, an optional exact RC as well as a board controller developed by TQ expand the functionality of the module. Serial interfaces which are fully legacy compatible are provided, for example, via the board controller. Extra functions like a second I2C controller or a CAN interface can be optionally added. TQ summarizes these flexible configuration options under the term "flexiCFG". With "Green ECO off" a standby mode is supported with a power output of just around 100 mW.
The UEFI BIOS is equipped with useful functions like a touchscreen-capable setup. HMI systems in particular benefit from this, where there is normally no external service interface like the RS-232 or USB. Advanced Console Redirect also allows access to the BIOS setup and the shell via the network. For systems that are constructed in an inaccessible way, this is an ideal interface for service and configuration. The simple configuration and documentation of the setup default settings via the easy-to-use tools (easyConfig) makes it easier to manage and maintain various device configurations and whole ranges. In addition it is possible to store several default setup configurations in a BIOS image (multiConfig).
As standard, TQ also offers protective coating for particularly demanding areas of application. With active obsolescence management, TQ ensures long-term availability so that railway and aviation applications can be secured. The robust design and high reliability are ensured by TQ due to the high-quality in-house design and extensive tests.
