David Thomson, Präsident der Artemis International GmbH, spricht am 17. März 2003, 14:00 Uhr, im Raum Heidelberg des Convention Centers auf der CeBIT zum Thema "Life Cycle Management von Investitionen, Vorhaben und Projekten".
In einer Situation knapper Kassen und schwieriger Wirtschaftslage kommt es mehr denn je darauf an, verantwortungsbewusst mit den zur Verfügung stehenden Geldern umzugehen — das gilt speziell für den Bereich Investitionen.
Mit Bezug auf die von Artemis International zur CeBIT 2003 erstmals präsentierten branchenspezifischen Gesamtlösungen für das Management von Zeit, Kosten und Ressourcen, wird David Thomson in seinem Vortrag erläutern, wie konsequent angewendetes Life Cycle Management (LCM) als strategisch-taktischer Ansatz gerade im Umfeld von Investitionen, Vorhaben und Projekten nutzbringend eingesetzt werden kann.
Investitionsentscheidungen müssen auf der Basis fundierter Kriterien und immer mit dem Ziel eines schnellen Return-on-Investments erfolgen — der Vortrag erklärt typische Prozesse und zeigt auf, wie Unternehmen, ihre Investitionen durch Life Cycle Management effizient steuern können, von der ersten Idee bis hin zum letzten Cent, der mit dem Ergebnis der Investition erwirtschaftet werden soll. Im Einzelnen werden folgende Aspekte angesprochen:
die Konkretisierung von Investitionsideen im Beziehungsgeflecht von Kosten-Nutzen, Unternehmenszielen, Strategien und Risiken
die Umsetzung von Investitionen im Rahmen von Planungs- und Bewertungsprozessen
die Überprüfung und Kontrolle sowie die Amortisation von Investitionen im produktiven Einsatz
die Unterstützung des LCM-Ansatzes durch geeignete IT-Lösungen
