"We have a great working history with HP and are happy to formalize our collaborative efforts in this partnership," says Michele Sesana, Mixed Reality and Digital Innovation Manager at TXT. "HP’s vast experience and technical know-how ensure we will be able to continually deliver the most technologically advanced solutions to our customers."
TXT’s customer base includes leading aircraft and automotive manufacturers, first-tier suppliers and airlines from all over the world. TXT’s current range of virtual reality solutions supports the training of pilots, flight attendants and maintenance technicians as well as advanced product configuration and manufacturing processes. All use cases involve complex simulation scenarios and dynamic interactions, while demanding a high degree of realism.
Pushing the VR hardware to the limit not only delivers valuable technical feedback, explains Cécile Tezenas du Montcel, Virtual Reality Business Development Manager for EMEA region at HP: "Challenging content like TXT’s is a great showcase for the capabilities of our HP Z VR backpack and new HP Reverb Virtual Reality Headset. TXT’s portfolio is well-aligned with HP’s industry focus for virtual reality, so we’re delighted to have them on board."
To kick off the partnership, TXT is showcasing its virtual training solutions at the HP booth at the International Forum for the Military and Civil Simulation, Training and Education Community (ITEC), which is held in Stockholm from May 14 to 16.
