Der Feind des Dorfes, Orochimaru, nutzt die Gunst der Stunde und überredet Sasuke, seine Freunde und sein Heimatdorf zu verlassen. NARUTO(TM) : The Broken Bond ist neben NARUTO(TM) : Rise of a Ninja das einzige Naruto-Videospiel, das einen Online-Mehrspielermodus bietet. Durch diesen ist es möglich, gegen andere Spieler im Online-Turniermodus anzutreten.
