Ubisoft veröffentlicht Soulcalibur® IV für Xbox 360™ und PlayStation®3 sowie Soulcalibur Legends™ exklusiv auf Wii™. Beide Titel erscheinen in Europa und anderen PAL-Territorien im Sommer 2008.
Soulcalibur® IV ist der neuste Teil der weltbekannten Kampfspielreihe. Mit neuen Spielmodi, Charakteren, erweiterten Funktionen, bahnbrechenden 3D-Modellen und Animationen ist Soulcalibur® IV die ultimative Kampfspiel-Erfahrung. Soulcalibur® IV beinhaltet außerdem noch nie da gewesene Möglichkeiten zur Charakterindividualisierung und einen langerwarteten Online-Kampfmodus.
Als Ergebnis der Zusammenarbeit zwischen NAMCO BANDAI Games America Inc. und LucasArts wird der Sith Lord Darth Vader als Gastcharakter in der PlayStation 3-Version des Spiels auftreten. Auf der Xbox 360 reiht sich Jedi-Meister Yoda in die Riege der Kämpfer ein.
Soulcalibur Legends™ versetzt den Spieler in ein Action-Adventure aus der Perspektive der dritten Person. Durch den Einsatz von Wii™-Fernbedienung und Nunchuk wird dem Titel ein besonderer Status innerhalb der traditionsreichen Reihe verliehen.
