“Gartner defines SaaS management platforms (SMP) as software tools that aim to help organizations discover, manage, optimize and automate the SaaS application life cycle from one centralized console.” As stated by Gartner, “SaaS management platforms empower organizations to address the compounding challenges of SaaS application usage across the business that lead to overspend, elevated risk, lack of visibility and contract sprawl.” The report states, among other things: “Through 2027, organizations that fail to attain centralized visibility and coordinate SaaS life cycles will overspend on SaaS by at least 25% due to unused entitlements and unnecessary, overlapping tools.”
“We are pleased to be identified in the 2024 Gartner Magic Quadrant for SaaS Management Platforms. The demand for centralized solutions is expected to grow significantly as many companies today struggle with uncontrolled costs and wasted SaaS resources. Transparency across the entire lifecycle is therefore increasingly important. We achieve this, for example, through more than 150 integrated connectors to APIs of relevant SaaS providers,” emphasized Peter Stanjeck, Senior Vice President & Managing Director R&D at USU.
