Die Serie RT9 ist für Messungen bis 50 volle Umdrehungen ausgelegt. Sie unterscheidet sich von der Serie RT8 hauptsächlich durch den mechanischen Aufbau und die zulässige hohe radiale Achslast von über 15 kg. Der Durchmesser beträgt knapp 115 mm und die Einbautiefe ca. 60 mm.
Schon durch ihre grundsoliden Gehäuse demonstrieren beide Serien von Positionssensoren ihre Bestimmung für robusten Betrieb im Außenbereich zwischen -40 °C und +90 °C. Mit den Schutzlassen IP67 bzw. IP68 sind sie wahlweise aus Edelstahl oder Pulverlack-beschichtetem Aluminium lieferbar.
Einige Varianten der RT8/RT9-Positionssensoren verfügen über komfortable Justiermöglichkeiten bei Messanfang und Messende. So lässt sich das Ausgangssignal in weiten Bereichen direkt an die Messaufgabe anpassen.
