"Die europäische Automobilindustrie verfügt über ein langjährig bewährtes Netzwerk zu Herstellern, Zulieferern und Forschungseinrichtungen auf dem Gebiet der Kunststofftechnologie. Alle zusammen leisten wichtige Grundlagenarbeiten für den automobiltechnischen Fortschritt", sagt der Leiter des Kongresses, Prof. Dr. Rudolf C. Stauber, Vorsitzender des VDI-Fachbereichs Kunststofftechnik.
Die bewährte Veranstaltung im Mannheimer Congress Center bietet Gelegenheit zum fachlichen Austausch und zur Diskussion. Auf dem Programm stehen die Themenfelder Exterieur, Interieur, Nachhaltigkeit, Werkstoffe und Verfahren, Technologien sowie Verbundwerkstoffe. Die deutschen Beiträge werden simultan ins Englische übersetzt. Eine Fachausstellung von Rohstoffherstellern, Kunststoffmaschinen-Herstellern sowie Verarbeitern und Systemlieferanten begleitet die Veranstaltung. Ein Automobilsalon mit aktuellen Pkw und Nutzfahrzeugen zeigt innovative Kunststofftechnologien im Automobilbau.
