Die Veranstaltung auf der building performance congress Bühne inmitten der Messehalle 9 bot ein eindrucksvolles Ambiente für die Verleihung der Preise. Weil eben die Praxistauglichkeit der Arbeiten einen wesentlichen Bewertungsmaßstab für die Jury darstellt, war die Verleihung quasi mitten im Marktgeschehen ein besonderes Highlight.
Die Qualität und Anzahl der eingereichten Arbeiten übertraf die Erwartungen nachdem im vergangenen Jahr trotz einer ausreichenden Anzahl von Bewerbungen nur 2 Preise vergeben werden konnten. Die Jury entschied dieses Jahr vier preiswürdige Arbeiten mit dem AMGFörderpreis zu bedenken.
Rozinka Stoianova Baumert erhielt den AMG-Förderpreis 2010 auf dem Gebiet Kommunikation. Ihre Masterarbeit befasste sich mit "Assessment of the Potential of Usage of Highquality Building Automation in LEED Certification". Betreut wurde Frau Baumert von Prof. Dipl.-Ing. Elmar Bollin, Hochschule Offenburg.
Markus Keller nahm den AMG-Förderpreis 2010 auf dem Gebiet Gebäudeautomation entgegen. Seine Masterthesis hatte die "Energieeinsparpotentiale von Komfort-Hotels" zum Thema. Herr Keller wurde von Herrn Prof. Dr.-Ing. Rainer Hirschberg, Fachhochschule Aachen, betreut.
