For this purpose, Venjakob offers two technology platforms for use. The Tapio
ecosystem, well-known in the woodworking industry, which is Cloud based and the
in-house development, the dashboard analysis tool VEN PROFIT. The Venjakob Dashboard and the Tapio solution provide an insight into how customers can retrieve
processed machine data effectively, for example, to monitor the production process, plan anticipated maintenance, or use it for management level analysis.
VEN PROFIT stores the operating data independently in the local network and
optionally in a Cloud. Access to the data takes place via defined interfaces, which
are individually adaptable according to customer wishes and given conditions.
Venjakob's in-house development focused on decoupling the ODA from the control platform as well as a flexible evaluation of the operating data on various end devices. The solution can be used independently of industries and business areas and
enables Web-based data access. For the user, the dashboard analysis tool VEN PROFIT offers many additional benefits for machine operators, production and
operational management as well as general management:

RFID in the painting process
Based on a VEN SPRAY PERFCT coating line, Venjakob demonstrated, how RFID tags incorporated in workpieces are used to configure machine parameters. For the demonstration, workpieces were provided with RFID tags, which act as identifiers. When these pass the RFID reading station at the infeed area, the machine adjusts itself according to the parameters stored under the number of the tag. In the LIGNA scenario, for example, the technology is used in conjunction with the dashboard to spontaneously paint a furniture front in a colour other than the one planned. Acetone substitute for belt cleaning in painting lines
Environmental friendliness and cost-effectiveness are very important to Venjakob. The request of customers to reduce hazardous substances and improve occupational safety in the production process has led Venjakob to search for an alternative to acetone.
Objective: Avoiding acetone when cleaning belts while achieving the same excellent results and maintaining efficiency and profitability. At the LIGNA Venjakob introduces a solution with cleaning properties better than those of an acetone solvent. The product is VOC and label free as well as distillable and recyclable.
Time and cost savings with Venjakob Service App and Smart Devices
Fast, reliable service reduces costs
Time is money. Fast reaction times and qualified support from specialist personnel are as good as gold, especially if they can be done visually and without language barriers.
Venjakob is known by their customers as a reliable partner. In order to offer its
customers an even faster and more effective service, in the future Venjakob will focus on another in-house solution in addition to the remote maintenance and connection by the Tapio Service Board. A Service App in conjunction with Smart Access Devices (Smart Glasses, Smartphones or tablet). Prerequisite for use is a functional W-LAN network. The machine operator dials in on the Venjakob server via the Service App.
The call / video can be recorded for documentation purposes. Using data glasses, Smartphones, etc., the machine operator transmits pictures of the situation on site.
The Venjakob service technician can support in troubleshooting, assisting and reducing downtimes. Machine-relevant data can be displayed. Furthermore, besides giving
linguistic hints to the operator, the technician can provide hints by using pointers or by fading in symbols or by entering texts.
Visionary Venjakob is currently working on the EFRE.NRW project "Prescriptive Maintenance"
In the future, it should be possible to use the machine data obtained during operation to plan ahead:
- Reduction of downtimes and sudden loss of production
- Predictive scheduling of maintenance
- Transforming several smaller service assignments into a larger one
- Identifying influences leading to failure and a change of these influential factors
