Handelsblatt bekommt neue Creative Directorin

Neuzugang beim Handelsblatt: Ab sofort verantwortet Melanie Petersen (34) als Creative Directorin das äußere Erscheinungsbild der Wirtschafts- und Finanzzeitung. Die renommierte Grafik-Designerin wird auf der neu geschaffenen Position die optische Weiterentwicklung der Marke Handelsblatt - Print, Online und Digital - vorantreiben und umsetzen. Melanie Petersen wird dabei von einem rund 30-köpfigen Team von Grafikern, Layoutern und Bildredakteuren unterstützt und berichtet direkt an die Chefredaktion.

Vor ihrem Wechsel zum Handelsblatt war Melanie Petersen als freie Creative & Art Directorin für zahlreiche Verlage, u.a. Axel Springer, Ringier und Hubert Burda Media, sowie für verschiedene namhafte Werbeagenturen tätig. Zuvor wirkte die Spezialistin für Design und digitale Kommunikation zwei Jahre als Art Director bei der Wochenzeitung "Welt am Sonntag". Weitere Stationen führten Petersen unter anderem zur Wochenzeitung "Die Zeit", dem Nachrichtenmagazin "Der Spiegel" und "Vanity Fair". 2012 gründete Melanie Petersen ein E-Commerce-Unternehmen, das bis heute erfolgreich besteht.
