Die neue Firewall VT AIR 1500 ist speziell für Datacenter und anspruchsvolle Enterprise-Umfelder entwickelt worden und verbindet perfekt die Vorzüge aus zwei Welten: die Professionalität und Qualität der Enterprise-Welt und die Transparenz, Sicherheit und Kosteneffizienz der Open-Source-Welt – ohne Lizenzkosten und schnellem ROI (Return on Investment).

Die Enterprise Firewall VT AIR 1500 ist aufgrund ihrer smarten Technologie vielseitig einsetzbar und dank 10/1 Gigabit High-Speed (1/10GB RJ45, SFP+) hoch performant. Die ebenso kompakte wie flexible und funktionale Rack Firewall wächst mit den Erfordernissen in Unternehmen oder Datencentern mit. Die VT AIR 1500 Firewall kann unter anderem als WAN/LAN-Router, VPN-Server, DHCP-Server, DNS-Server und Intrusion Protection und Detection Server eingesetzt werden.

VT AIR basiert auf Debian Linux und bietet unter anderem umfassende Features. Dazu zählen:

  • Multi Factor Authentication (TOTP)
  • Web Control/Web Protection (Virus and Webfilter)
  • OpenVPN, IPSec

Zum Managen von VT AIR stehen verschiedene Tools zur Verfügung: eine moderne Webmanagement-Oberfläche, eine REST API, Command Line Interface (CLI) und ein zentrales Remote Management Portal.
