"Seit vielen Jahren sind wir in Belgien sehr engagiert. Die positiven Entwicklungen des Marktes gaben den Ausschlag für ein eigenständiges Vertriebsbüro", so Christof Biba, Marketingleiter Wagner & Co für Solarstrom, bei seinem Besuch im Oktober 2011. Attraktive Unterstützungen konnten eine deutliche Marktbelebung bewirken, so dass eine voraussichtliche Marktgröße von 600 MW im Solarstrombereich in 2011 erreicht wird. Auch der Solarwärmebereich, speziell im Großanlagensektor zeigt eine deutliche Belebung. Aktuell wird im Zuge einer Gebäudesanierung im sozialen Wohnungsbau in Droixhes eine 540m² Solarwärmeanlage installiert. "Insbesondere im Großanlagenbereich gibt es europaweit noch viel Potenzial. Die mehr als 20 Jahre Erfahrung im Projektbereich aus Deutschland machen sich nun auch verstärkt unsere europäischen und auch internationalen Standorte zu nutzen", erläutert Andreas Knoch, Marketingleiter Wagner & Co für Solarwärme international.
In beiden Bereichen, Solarwärme als auch Solarstrom, arbeitet Wagner & Co bereits langfristig und eng mit Fachunternehmen in Belgien zusammen, betreut durch Frédéric Herzog, belgischer Solarpionier der ersten Stunde. " Bereits 1999 habe ich mit meinem Vater erste Solarstromanlagen installiert. Diese Erfahrungen kommen nun meinen jungen Kollegen und vor allem natürlich unseren Partnern zu Gute", so Frédéric Herzog. Zusammen mit Jean-Philipp Boucq, der seit 2010 im Unternehmen ist und ebenfalls langjähriger Spezialist für die Sonnennutzung ist, bildet er ein kompetentes Team für alle Fragen rund um die Solartechnik in Belgien. Symbolisch übergab Christof Biba die Vision für 2012 in Form eines T-Shirts "Strom.Wärme.Zukunft." lautet der Claim des Unternehmens. Lächelnd nahm Frédéric Herzog das Präsent entgegen und kommentiert abschließend: "Wir freuen uns darauf, die solare Zukunft und damit die europäische Energiewende in Belgien weiter aktiv mit zu gestalten."
