US-Hersteller Mill-Max stellt eine neue SMD-Buchsenleiste 406-43-2XX-30-068000 vor. Diese sehr flache (3,7 mm) doppelreihige Buchsenleiste ist zu 335 Stück auf Rolle verpackt. Ein Vakuum-Clip ermöglicht das leichte Ansaugen und Platzieren mit dem Bestückungsautomaten. Sie ist ideal dafür geeignet bedrahtete IC-Bauteile auf eine SMD-Platine einzustecken, oder beim übereinander Stapeln von Leiterplatten mit sehr geringer Bauhöhe. Der Lochabstand beträgt 2,54 mm und die vergoldeten 4-Fingerkontakte in den präzisionsgedrehten Buchsen garantieren eine sichere Kontaktierung mit gängigen IC Beinchen oder passenden Stiftleisten. Bei Verwendung mit der SMD-Stiftleistenserie 429 beträgt die zusammengesteckte Bauhöhe gerade einmal 7,62 mm. Durch die sehr kleinen Kontaktflächen der SMD-Pads mit 0,74 mm Durchmesser können entsprechend kleine Lötkontaktflächen auf der Leiterplatte gesetzt werden, so dass mehr Platz für Leiterbahnen gegeben ist. Die RoHS konforme Serie ist mit 4 bis 20 Positionen erhältlich, verwendet einen Hochtemperaturkunststoff und ist mit gängigen SMD-Lötverfahren zu verarbeiten. Bei bis zu 20 Positionen wird eine Co-Planität von gerade einmal 0,127 mm garantiert.
