Weicon Tools stellt Verpackungen um

Der Hersteller von Abisolierwerkzeugen Weicon Tools stellt ab Januar die Verpackung seiner Werkzeuge um und verzichtet dabei vollständig auf Kunststoffe. Recyclefähiger Karton in drei unterschiedlichen Größen wird in Zukunft die Werkzeuge des Münsteraner Familienunternehmens umgeben.

Nachhaltigkeit und schonender Umgang mit den Ressourcen sind wichtige Themen und werden in Zukunft einen noch höheren Stellenwert einnehmen. Schon jetzt hinterlässt der Mensch Tonnen von Müll selbst an den entlegensten Stellen des Planeten.

Weicon möchte durch den Verzicht auf Kunststoffverpackungen einen kleinen Teil zur Verbesserung der Situation beitragen.

„Durch die Umstellung unserer Verpackungen auf Karton verzichten wir komplett auf Plastik. Dadurch werden pro Jahr mehr als sechs Tonnen Kunststoff eingespart“, so Ralph Weidling, Geschäftsführender Gesellschafter von Weicon.

Seit 1947 stellt die WEICON GmbH & Co. KG Spezialprodukte für die Industrie her. Zum Produktprogramm des Unternehmens zählen Spezialkleb- und Dichtstoffe, technische Sprays sowie Hochleistungsmontagepasten und Fette für alle Bereiche der Industrie – von der Produktion, Reparatur, Wartung bis hin zur Instandhaltung.
